ALTPROC: SPELS Guide - SME


To be properly guided in the preparation of the specific documentary requirements for your application for Sanggunian Member Eligibility, carefully read the guide below.
 
TO ALL SME APPLICANTS: Please note that application period for the grant of SME is only within two (2) years upon meeting the required number of years of service.



TRANSACTION FEE: PHP500.00
 
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
 
APPLICATION PERIOD: The application period for the grant of SME shall be not later than two (2) years after the completion  of the service requirement, pursuant to CSC MC no. 12, s. 2013. 
 
Ex: those who have completed their six (6) or nine (9) year service requirement on 30 June 2019 may only apply for the eligibility until 30 June 2021.


All documentary requirements enumerated herein (including Transaction Fee) only pertains to the application for this specific eligibility. If you want to be issued a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) outright after your application is approved, submit the documentary requirements for the issuance of the certificate of eligibility along with your application documents.


Please also note that processing of SPELS Application is REGION-BASED. As such, if you are currently in Region V, but have served / attended school in another region, you are advised to submit your documents directly to the CSC Regional Office that has jurisdiction over your place of service / school attended. Inversely, if you have served / graduated within the Bicol Region but is now based outside of the region, please read our procedure for the RELEASE OF DOCUMENTS VIA A CONDUIT CSC REGIONAL / FIELD OFFICE.
